Today it seems the nigh-invicible Renegades jump team, which has caused mass casualties in jumps against many different alliances including Phoenix, Legion/Cartel and HH hunters today met their match against a larger escort screen of HH and SH as they jumped a raid in Manchari (12).

Sardaukar Legions, the raiding wing of House Harkonnen, had already raided 5 ports before they came to raid the MIL 1A station in 12218. Shortly after the conclusion of the raid, a combined FURY/Renegades team jumped the HH and SH escort team.

The overall losses were 5 FURY and 3 Renegades, with 2 SH ships being lost by the defending side.

A HH member present commented that "Rens and Fury both jumped, it seemed they lagged a little", before continuing to say that "i think we were lucky not to lose more". FURY sources confirmed the lag with the jump. "There was terrible lag on IRC. Half the people got the countdown spammed to them all at once a few seconds later."

The numbers of jumpers is confirmed by both sides as 5 FURY, which all died, and 4 Renegades, of whom Zeron escaped. Of the defenders, there were 3 SH, of whom two died. The survivor, DJ_Adi, said "one SH was drone ship, and only trigger. So he did not deploy. Only me and dater deployed - I survived he not". The number of HH ships that were present range from FURY estimates of 9-11 and SH suggestions that there were only 5 HH ships there. HH reports suggest themselves that there were only 8 ships present, 5 HH and 3 HC. However, regardless of the number it was an impressive escort rebuttal of an attempted jump which showed that the HH kicking of a KAOS jump recently was no fluke.
