2.3. Op Summaries
For
Hojna, among others. :) I'll keep this up to date after each op and
other major events such as jumps, and we'll have a little history of
the second half the the round to look back on.
RAID OP: JULY 11
We
raided three planets and a station. The first was 24024, one we'd
raided previously but that was stolen by a newbie alliance, BFG, after
it ran out of fuel.

After
that, we moved to 21k. We fired a shot at a LoF planet, but decided we
wouldn't be able to take it with out current raiders. However, Max
killed some random guy scanning the raid.

accurate statement. i knew the second i looked at the screen i
should've said hold, had a feeling something was wrong. low and behold,
Glive wasn't repped lol. had i not been so tired i would've screamed
hold lol. meh. on a side note, i'm now available for op's on thursday
nights. Storm is catching on fairly quickly to the RC'ing business,
noticing how i typically set up rep assignments, and jumping IS and
repping on the first raid without even knowing what we were shooting,
nor caring. can't wait for the next op where i'll give him the joy of
dealing with raiders deploying/undeploying :), or possibly a reloading
raider, whatever is available for me to give to him.

Wanne loan an RC, one could undock (10062) was successfully raided by members of IGF Outlaws (143) pWnEd!.
Planet
was finally raided after the RC on the rock ran out of turns and the
two teams of raiders continued beating down on it, exacting large toll
on the population, flirting with powerdrain, and eventually downing the
rocks power. The stockers on the planet self repped to the end, but by
then it was over.

Great
job to all involved. This was a laggy, difficult raid that was
complicated by restockers, but we pulled through in the end. There's
few things more demoralizing than knowing a raid is coming hours in
advance, having restockers ready, and having the opposing side take the
rock through brute force anyway. :P

did very well RC'ing and Grim was very patient with us. At first, it
was laggy and I was refreshing and checking all five of our
repairtargets (which was very difficult given 30 visible ships IS) and
we were doing like 30 second triggers. And I got the
blue-screen-of-death and I had to reboot my computer. But after that DD
and I worked out a double-calling system and Grim was fine with it and
we were doing 15 second triggers regularly. I beleive Ruela was
repairing with us the entire time, too. Given the circumstances
(raiding one of the larger rocks in the game with restockers for his
very first raid), he did well. :)

clicking 'continue attack' before the combat script processsed

kept this updated at all like I intended to. Oh well. I may go back and
fill in some of the jumps and stuff I've missed recording
09/01: Attempted LoF Jump
LoF
planet busts in 33k alerted us that they were raiding. When they
alerted a 33k port, we began assembling a jump team and sent out a
scanner. However, the intended LoF target, a SH tried to run and was
podded, causing them to cancel the raid and move off. We were unable to
find them after scouting the planets in 33k, when Fuzzy Bunny from IGF
found them raiding a planet in 19k.
We gathered on the 15k side
of the 15k/19k node, counted down to move into 19k, then counted down
to jump, but LoF immediately scattered when they got our mass pings
moving into 19k. By the time we entered the planet sector they were all
gone.
We found a bunch of them in a L12 port and camped it for a
while, catching one L255 raider trying to escape but not managing to
kill the others. When the majority had left, we stopped camping.

Payback
for last time. :) Mostly an IGF jump, but there were Fury involved both
as warbirds/damage spreads and combat medics. Results were heavily in
our favor, as we jumped their second planet bust attempt in 19k.
