I'm afraid it's
come to the end of the road for me. We've had some good times
together, and I have very much enjoyed leading this alliance through
thick and thin. This is a fearsome group of players and Fury is
rightfully feared and respected throughout the galaxy. However, I'm
afraid that all good things must come to an end. I no longer have
the time, for reasons you will understand in a moment, to continue
on as your leader. Beginning immediately, Nightmyre will assume overall command of Fury. Nightmyre has done an excellent job and I am sure things will continue to run smoothly with him holding the reins. There are a few things I feel you deserve to know about me after all this time, however. After Malhavoc/Jerle left on his mission trip, and Ciralin revealed herself as Aelanna, several of you jokingly suggested that I must be Squee. I of course denied this. However, I was not being totally honest in these denials. :) I am Squee, TDZK admin and banana enthusiast. Some of you had begun to put together some of the pieces together, by this time. I would slip up occasionally, mostly unnoticed, but usually managed to cover up. Iccyh, at the end, was the one who finally figured things out and confronted me with the knowledge. He was, as usual, right on the mark. :) Since we've been through so much together, I felt that you all deserve to know. I've gone to great pains to create a 'Solace' player as totally different from Squee in mannerisms as possible. Even then, some of you still saw through the act. Many of you have questioned why I've been so evasive about my background. This is why. :) Anyhow, Fury will run fine without me. The strength of the alliance is that it works as a team, and is not dependant on any single player. I've enjoyed my time with you all and wish you all the best. I've had my
suspicions for awhile now, being in SK before Fury and watching
Ciralin and Malhavoc depart. When my suspicions about Mal were
confirmed, I questioned Solace if he was, in fact, Squee. As my
memory serves me(which it usually doesn't at my age), Solace was
like the US military on the topic of nuclear weapons, he evaded the
question, neither confirming it nor denying it. I now know
why. Fly safe my friend, you have been a good wingman, a thoughtful and knowledgeable leader and a friend. While I will support Nightmyre to the best of my ability, I will always consider you to be the best alliance leader I've known. Somehow the galaxy seems diminished tonight by your absence. been limited, but from the little I have seen, FURY has lost it's

don't know what to say...you took me in under your wing and taught
me everything i know about TDZK. You are the best leader around and
it just won't be the same without you. I'm sorry to see you go and I
hope everything turns out for the best. I suspected something when
you and Squee signed on IRC/AIM respectively at almost the exact
